FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How old do you have to be to join the gym?
13 (or Year 8). We offer free programs to assist with getting confident with all our equipment.

Can I trial the facilities?
One of our staff members will be happy to show you around our beautiful facilities and let you try equipment that you are unfamiliar with. As we offer 'No Contract Memberships', we do not offer 7 day free trials or alike.   ​
Do you have lockers?
We have lockers available for you to use free of charge. Enter your own code each time you use it.
How do you book a tennis court?
Both members and non-members book through our website. If you are an existing member of Emu Park Gym & Swim, you will be able to book free after signing up to our ‘Play Tennis’ membership. See our front desk to signup.
Do members pay for tennis court usage?
Our beautiful synthetic grass tennis courts are free for members to book, and can be reserved through our online booking system. Book Now.
How do you book a Group Fitness Class?
Download our MyClub Fitness app or book online to book your next class, up to one day in advance if possible. 
What do I need to bring to the gym?
You must have suitable footwear, Towel & Yoga Mat if doing any floor work classes ie: Pilates & Yoga.
Do you have bathrooms?
Yes we have high class amenities for both males & females (including lockers) – female bathroom also has a hairdryer.
How do you book a Sauna?
You can book your sauna session through our front desk at the gym, or call up to prebook. 
Do members pay for use of the sauna?
Our new state of the art Infrared Sauna is free for members to book, and can be reserved through our front desk at the gym.
Can I book a Personal Trainer?
Yes, personal trainers can be booked directly through reception, on our app or online. 
Can I get a program written?
Yes we have staff coaches available for program writing.
What are you doing to keep the gym clean & safe?
• Staff do mandatory COVID-19 clean throughout shifts, both AM/PM
• Sanitizer stations all throughout the club
• Paper Towel and Hospital Grade Sanitizer in all areas for after workout wipe down
• Ensuring members bring a towel and water bottle – no towel no train policy
Do you have a carpark?
Yes. We have a large carpark that is suitable for all gym members, as well as casual visits to the lifestyle centre & facilities. 
Can I put my membership on hold?
Yes we encourage you to place your membership on hold rather than cancelling – we are flexible with how many times you can place your membership on hold.
